Burns Bair co-founders Tim Burns and Jesse Bair and associates Brian Cawley and Morgan Stippel Johnson have earned recognition in the 2027 edition of The Best Lawyers in America.

Tim is recognized for his work in Insurance Law and Litigation – Insurance. A longtime Best Lawyers honoree, he has been recognized by the publication for his insurance law practice for nearly two decades. His practice focuses on high-stakes disputes with insurance companies, including matters involving significant insurance recoveries for individuals, businesses, and survivors of sexual abuse. 

Jesse is recognized in Commercial Litigation. A founding partner of Burns Bair, he handles complex insurance and commercial disputes and devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing sexual abuse survivors and other tort claimants in matters involving insurance coverage and recovery. 

Recognized in the area of Insurance Law, Brian represents clients in a wide range of matters involving insurance companies and has experience with complex coverage disputes and insurance issues arising in mass tort bankruptcy proceedings. 

Morgan, recognized in Commercial Litigation, maintains a practice encompassing a broad range of civil litigation, and she has experience handling matters in state and federal courts through all stages of litigation, including discovery, mediation, trial and appeals.
