We focus on insurance recovery.

We use our collective experience, built over more than 40 years of corporate trial practice, to help the victims of corporate and institutional wrongdoing recover compensation that may be available through insurance policies. Most recently the firm has been repeatedly selected to apply this established expertise in supporting plaintiffs’ committees representing individuals in sexual abuse claims against Roman Catholic dioceses.  The firm is proud to pursue this litigation and help bring closure to those who have suffered under these tragic circumstances.

Among other notable representations, our team represented the board of directors of one of the world’s largest banks in a high-profile engagement that resulted in the largest insurance-funded settlement of a shareholder derivative action in history.

These recovery initiatives may involve many different types of insurance policies, including general liability insurance, directors’ and officers’ insurance, professional liability insurance, fiduciary liability insurance, cyber insurance, property insurance, and crime and fidelity insurance.
