Insurance Journal Features Range of COVID-19 Business Interruption Claims

According to a leading insurance industry publication, a Minnesota dentist, an Ohio bridal shop and a New York pizzeria are among six small businesses seeking insurance coverage of their COVID-19 business interruption claims, showcasing the wide variety of affected companies.

Burns Bowen Bair LLP is among the coalition of law firms pursing the claims, arguing that argue that the property insurance policies are all-risk property damage policies that “cover all risks of loss, except for risks that are expressly and specifically excluded.”
