Three Burns Bair Attorneys Earn Recognition Among Wisconsin Super Lawyers

Burns Bair is pleased to announce that three of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized in the 2025 edition of Wisconsin Super Lawyers. Firm co-founder Tim Burns has been selected to Super Lawyers, while associates Brian Cawley and Morgan Stippel Johnson have been selected to Super Lawyers: Rising Stars. Each attorney has been recognized in the practice area of Insurance Coverage.

A nationally recognized insurance trial lawyer, Tim has secured substantial recoveries for policyholders in high-stakes coverage disputes, including mass torts, class actions, and complex commercial matters. Brian and Morgan both represent clients in a wide range of insurance matters. Brian has been recognized for his experience on insurance issues in mass tort bankruptcies and has written articles for American Bar Association publications. Morgan brings a strong civil litigation background and leadership experience from her service with one of Madison’s oldest law firms.

Each year, Super Lawyers evaluates attorneys across more than 70 practice areas using a multiphase selection process that includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations. Ultimately, only about 5% of attorneys in each state are named to Super Lawyers, and roughly 2.5% of younger attorneys earn recognition among Rising Stars.
